Wow, I really loved the game! First of all, just like how Freakaversity was, it was such a fun experience! It was good to see the old gang back and being friends this time around! It is nice to see Casey fitting in with their friends and really embracing their monster identity. I don’t know if I was supposed to, but the principal was so funny when he gets angry that I kept choosing options that would anger him! 😅 The music, art, and voice acting are all amazing and come together very nicely with the story! (Good job everyone!) I have to say that having voice acting in this game really helps bring the characters to life, and I especially enjoyed seeing my favourite Freakaversity character Phoebe voiced… she is exactly like how I had imagined her to be! (And all the other characters too!)
Spoilers!
The ending with the colours is a really nice touch! I had always thought that the monochrome art was a design choice and never thought that the world in which the story is set in is actually in shades of black and white! I think this really adds a layer of meaning to the message of the series... but poor Phoebe! I wonder if she is just not used to the change or if there is more to her character preferring a black and white world...?
Ahhhhh Marie, you're the absolute best, thank you so much for taking your time to play and write this lovely review!!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and that you think the artists did a great job, because, hey, they did!!! I agree with you so much, the voice acting was just amazing, and I'd like to thank the VAs about it once again lol
Replying to spoilers below:
Hahahaha, the monochrome was born out of two things, one, i was really into that at the time, and two, since we began late during freakaversity, it felt like the perfect way to complete the game in time. (There's even a mention to the colour green somewhere in freak, but hey, that's it's name, not a colour. Nope, no idea what a colour is! lol) But taking that into consideration plotwise sort of became must do thing in this one! I'm really glad you liked it and noticed it as something to highlight!
About Phoebe, I just feel like she was shocked like the rest, and was refusing change, in her own, very peculiar, particular style lol but worry not! She probably did fine after a few days, with the help of her buddy Casey!
You’re so welcome Mat! :)
Haha! That’s very cute and adorable of Phoebe! I am a little sad to hear that this is the end of the series… But hey, I didn’t think there was going to be a sequel! I just never realized how nice it would be to reconnect with characters from another game in this newer one.
Good job again everyone! :) Your game was truly a fun and wholesome experience that brought a smile to my face!
I thank you again for such lovely coments on our work <3 and well, you never know if it is the last one, right? But for now at least it will be, althought freak being freak, i'd lie if I said i don't have another plot in my head since we ended this one! But we'll see when i actually feel the need to come back to these looneys.
Againx2, thank you so much Marie, means a lot that you played it and liked it!!!
This is such a fun experience! The art is pretty and expressive, and the voice acting really brings life to the characters! I fell in love with Phoebe on like her second line <3 Casey was such a fun protagonist too, I love their dynamic with everyone especially Siegfried!
Random thing in my playthrough, I didn't notice that Casey uses they/them, I was confused when Albatros keep correcting himself I was like 'why won't he say b- OHHHH.'
I really like the setting and worldbuilding in this game, great entry! Thanks for making it!!
Man, the characterization is some of the best! They really felt like live characters to me with their own singular personalities and the best was that They all interacted in a very believable way!
The voice overs were really professional and totally enhanced the experience!
The dialogue was quirky and funny, and I love that it really pushed forward references about social media and influencers!
I enjoyed numerous aspects of this visual novel, including the following: the entire setup, which calls to mind Monsters University, a movie I adore; the wide cast of characters, each with a distinct design and an impressive array of expressions; the moments of exploration; the voice acting; the whole coffee debacle (I know how crucial access to quality coffee can be as someone highly dependent on caffeine); the vampire and his challenges with garlic; the references to bombs from the FF series; the small glimpses of meta; and -- how shall I say this? -- the vibrant surprise that occurs at the end of the story.
I should mention that I sometimes felt like I was playing catch-up and was not getting the inside jokes of this group of friends. However, that's to be expected since I haven't read the prequel. Also, I don't play many Unity games so I couldn't figure out how to access the menu for saving, loading, and other game options. That didn't detract from my experience, though!
Overall, this was super fun and light-hearted and wholesome! A hearty congrats to your team for releasing this cool game!

This is one of the most lovely reviews I've readed, thank you for that!
This game in itself calls to mind many, far too many references, and I sometimes find myself between the sword and the wall, trying to scape them, but in the end it's like, yeah well, it's for the sillies! lol
As for the inside jokes, yes, I tried to make it as friendly to new players as posible, hope that didn't detract you from the experience that much!
As for the Unity interface, well, it's another world. Our programmer managed to come up with a saving system, which consisted on the X you can see above. It basically quits the game and saves the nearest saving point you accesed, for you to continue from there when you open it again. Other than that, there's no menu or save files, as that doesn't come stock in Unity. Glad, however, that it didn't get that much in the way!
Again, thank you so much for playing and for the kind review!!!
Freak yeah, I loved re-visiting the Freakaversity and meeting all the lovely characters again! Everyone did an amazing job in the VA department bringing this characters to live! Oh the art looks absolutely stunning and fits perfectly for the mood of the game!
Thank you for making this game! Looking forward to more college adventures next year! :)
This was such a fun read! The characters are so lovable; Phoebe's energy and explosive personality really won me over! It was really funny too, Siegfried's attempt to scare an Italian being my personal highlight. Lots of fun options for dialogue too, I wanna play through it again and try out some different options to see what happens. All in all, a great time perfect for the season!

Hey! Thank you for your kind words, they're very much apreciated!
It's a very subtle detail, and I'm glad you got to notice it!!
I love phoebe and now I gotta eat more veggies so I can do the neck trick!
“Eat your soup in silence, vampire!” ICONIC!
Her ability to grow muscles is hella admirable too
This is such a fun concept, student vlogs at Freakiversity! (Also love how freaked out Casey looks over everything loooool)
We all have to eat more veggies! Sieggy learnt that the hard way :P
Really glad you enjoyed, thank you for playing!

Soooo glad you liked it, and so glad to read someone who played the first one as well. Also, good pick with Phoebe and the coffee lol
The VAs TOTTALY nailed it, as well as the art and programming team! Glad it brought out some laughter xD
And haha, we'll see about that :P

Hey! Thank you so much for playing!! And also... Siegfried trying to scare the italian is, and should be, everyone's favorite part lol
If I were to give you a suggestion... ask Phoebe for that coffee ;)
