This was such a heart-warming story! I was a little wary with the choices I made but glad things turned out fine in the end! 😄 I loved all the characters in the game, especially Phoebe! She's such a good friend!! The plot of the story really drew me in and I didn't stop playing at all until I reached the end! I also really enjoyed the little twist at the end... I think it adds extra meaning to the story!
I loved the art, and the character design! The black and white aesthetics really matches the story.
I wish I was able to play your game during the game jam period... but something came up and I had to travel and did not have consistent wifi!
All in all, this was a really lovely game with a meaningful message... and was fun to read and play through! Along with the art I can almost imagine this as a picture book!
Oh well, thank you so much for taking your time to play our game, even after the jam! That means a lot, and the fact that you liked it even more. I sort of feel honoured after how much I liked your entry to the jam!
As for the game, there's no alternate ending. You can have fun calling Siegfried anything you want, this way you can laugh at the different situations that creates!
As for the art, yes, Rads and JTank really went on and beyond with it. I was thrilled everytime they sent a new asset lol
As for Phoebe, yes! She's the best, and my personal favorite too. She was the first character besides Casey to come alive during both, writing and art, since she was a blast from the very first draft I did for the dialogues lol
Again, thank you and glad you enjoyed it! Hope to see you in the next jam!
I certainly had fun with some of the detours I took in the story!! LOL! You guys really did a great job!!
I probably will not be joining any game jam soon because I want to finish up all my incomplete projects! >< Though I hope to see more of your VNs in the future!!
This was a really cool little game! The black and white visuals were really distinct, the monster worldbuilding was great, and the characters were a lot of fun.
That was really cool. Very playful tone throughout with nice drama and emotional scenes mixed in.
I liked the stark black and white aesthetic. There was sometimes a bit of inconsistency between the characters and backgrounds, but it wasn’t too distracting. The character designs were all pretty fun.
I liked the music. Simple but effective and fitting.
I didn’t like how you had to click a specific area to progress the text. But that may just reveal how lazy I am :D Also it could have done with a save feature. Or if there was one, for it to be more obvious. I think it was long enough to warrant it.
I did appreciate that failing the chase sequences didn’t send you back to the title screen though.
All in all, fun little game. Well done!
PS: I ended up making friends with the jerk vampire, btw :D
Thank you so much!
As for the specific area and save function, I literally learnt to program with Zach for pulling the game off, so... yeah, it's a bit minimalistic cause I really had no idea how to do anything else lol but I'll take note, since I didn't even think of just clicking anywhere to have the text progress!
Also yeah, Rads killed it with the character designs, and really glad you enjoyed the music! As for becoming friends with the vampire jerk, well, that's the whole point of the game, althought you can still be a bit snappy at him in the options lol
Haha, thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed! Funny enought, I think the Principal was drawn *after* that dialogue was done haha we had incredible artists!

Sure thing! Hope to see your "to be completed" projects in the near future too!

So again, thank you for dropping by!!
Very nice game, I love the art!
I didn’t miss that “sheepishly” pun by the way… very clever.
Haha, thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed!

I agree!
Lol the artists after reading the dialogue: *cracks knuckles* Alright, time to make this even better.
Ahhhhh y'all did so great! This was amazing to play through! <333
Thaaaank yooouuuu <3
I love the black and white artstyle. It looks like a love letter for text based games + modern vns. Great game!
Thank you! It kinda is, glad you enjoyed!
